➤High Court of Delhi, New Delhi has released the Senior Personal Assistant (SPA) and Personal Assistant (PA) Examination 2026 vacancy notice for recruitment to 150 posts—117 Senior Personal Assistant and 33 Personal Assistant vacancies. Eligible graduates with the prescribed English typing and shorthand speed can apply online from 15 September 2026 to 5 October 2026. The selection process includes English Typing Test, English Shorthand Test, Main (Descriptive) Examination and Interview.

MODE OF EXAMINATION ( परीक्षा का माध्यम )
- English Typing Test – Computer-based, qualifying in nature.
- English Shorthand Test – Dictation and transcription on computer.
- Main (Descriptive) Examination – English language, 100 marks and 120 minutes.
- Interview – 15 marks
MODE OF SELECTION ( चयन की प्रक्रिया )
- Stage I – English Typing Test
- Qualifying in nature.
- Minimum typing speed: 40 WPM on computer.
- Maximum permissible mistakes: 3% of total words typed.
- Stage II – English Shorthand Test
- SPA: 110 WPM, 550-word passage.
- PA: 100 WPM, 500-word passage.
- Dictation: 5 minutes and transcription: 45 minutes.
- Candidates get two opportunities, with the best of the two considered.
- Stage III – Main (Descriptive) Examination
- English language.
- 100 marks, 120 minutes.
- Essay, Letter Writing, Grammar & Comprehension and Translation.
- Stage IV – Interview
- Maximum 15 marks.
- There is no minimum qualifying mark for the interview.
- Final Selection / Merit
HOW TO APPLY ( आवेदन कैसे करें )
- Visit the official website of the Delhi High Court.
- Register for the online application using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Note down the system-generated Registration/Application Number for future reference.
- Select the desired post — Senior Personal Assistant (SPA) or Personal Assistant (PA).
- Fill in all required personal, educational and other details carefully.
- Upload the required scanned passport-size colour photograph in JPEG format.
- Complete the mandatory Live Photograph capture through a webcam/mobile device.
- Upload the left-hand thumb impression in JPEG format. If the left thumb is unavailable, the right-hand thumb impression may be used.
- Upload the scanned signature in JPEG format.
- Pay the prescribed online examination fee through UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- Check all details carefully before final submission.
- After successful fee payment and submission, generate and save the Confirmation Page/Application Form for future reference.
