MODE OF EXAMINATION ( परीक्षा का माध्यम )
- offline mode as a pen-and-paper-based written test.
- Objective type, multiple choice questions only.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each incorrect answer.
MODE OF SELECTION ( चयन की प्रक्रिया )
- UPSSSC PET Score: Candidates are initially shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized score in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET).
- Written Examination: An offline, objective-type test consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks with a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4th mark) for incorrect answers
- Document Verification: Candidates who clear the written examination are called to verify their original educational, category, and identity documents
